KVKK Disclosure

Kamer Studio is based in Turkey, so data collected through this site falls under Turkish law — specifically Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK"). This notice explains, as required by KVKK Article 10, who processes your personal data when you fill out the contact form on this site, for what purpose, and how.
Data controller
The data controller for personal data collected through this site is Kamer Kaan Şahin, who provides design and software services under the name "Kamer Studio." You can reach him at skamerkaan@gmail.com.
What data we collect
When you fill out the contact form, the following is processed:
- Full name
- Email address
- Phone number (optional — if you leave it blank, nothing is processed)
- Whatever you write in your message, including the service and budget range you select
While you submit the form, your browser's IP address is used briefly for rate-limiting, to curb abuse of the form. It is not stored permanently and is never written to a database.
This site sets no tracking cookies. General visitor statistics are measured in aggregate, anonymized form through Vercel Analytics, which processes no personal data and sets no cookies — see the Cookie Policy for detail.
Why we process it
The data above is processed for one purpose: to evaluate the project enquiry you've sent, to reply to you, and — if that enquiry turns into a working relationship — to carry out that relationship. Your data is never shared with third parties for marketing purposes, sold, or used for anything you haven't consented to.
Legal basis
Your data is processed on the basis of the explicit consent you give by checking the consent box when you submit the form (KVKK Art. 5/1). The form cannot be submitted, and no data is processed, unless that box is checked.
Who your data is shared with
Submitting the form triggers a third-party service that delivers your message to Kamer Kaan Şahin by email. This site currently uses Web3Forms (web3forms.com); once a custom domain is verified, the active provider may switch to Resend (resend.com). In either case, that provider's role is limited to delivering the message — it does not act as a data controller and does not use your data for its own purposes. The current provider is always the one this page names above.
Your data is not shared with anyone beyond the third-party provider named here.
Retention period
Data collected through the form is kept for a maximum of 24 months from submission, for the purpose of evaluating your enquiry and discussing a potential working relationship, and is deleted at the end of that period. If your enquiry turns into an actual client relationship, any documents produced within that relationship (contracts, invoices) are retained separately, for the longer periods Turkish tax and commercial law require — you'll be informed of that separately if it applies.
Your rights under KVKK Article 11
Under Article 11 of KVKK, you have the right to:
- Learn whether your personal data is being processed,
- Request information about it if it is,
- Learn the purpose of processing and whether your data is used consistently with that purpose,
- Know the third parties, domestic or foreign, your data has been shared with,
- Request correction if your data is incomplete or inaccurate,
- Request erasure or destruction of your data once the conditions in KVKK Article 7 are met,
- Request that any correction, erasure or destruction be notified to the third parties your data was shared with,
- Object to a result that works against you arising solely from automated analysis of your data,
- Claim compensation for damage suffered due to unlawful processing.
How to exercise these rights
To exercise any of the rights above, email your request to skamerkaan@gmail.com. Including information to confirm your identity and a clear statement of what you're asking for helps your request get resolved quickly. Under KVKK Article 13, requests are answered within 30 days at the latest.
